Undriver License at Derby Day's Impact Eco Fair

Next Saturday, July 14th is Redmond's 72nd annual Derby Days Celebration!  Some of the festivities include the Impact Eco Fair where kid's activities, vendors, a root beer garden, and others will focus on fun ways to go green in Redmond.

One event at the Eco Fair will be to get your very own "Undriving License." When you get your  license to undrive, you are pledging to try different ways to get around town that will leave your car at home.  The mission of Undriving™ is to "activate people’s innate curiosity, creativity, and resourcefulness to make more conscious, active transportation choices, and to discover and share the joys inherent in car-free travel."

By participating, you are helping reduce carbon emissions that contribute to climate change and local air pollution, reducing traffic congestion, and enhancing community connections. Plus, riding your bike or walking around your neighborhood is just fun!

Last year at Derby Days, the Undriving booth set a new record by signing up 63 new Undrivers per hour. Help them beat their record by signing up next weekend at the Impact Eco Fair.
